Paul wrote a short letter to Titus to instruct him in how to develop leaders among the members of the churches Titus served on the island of Crete. These chapters help us prepare for a task  of leadership -- they get us game ready, to begin a life of serving God. We learn what it takes to make the cut (the qualifications of a leader); how to develop the most essential leadership habit (practice makes perfect), and how to develop the mindset of a leader (choosing a game plan).
